The University of Georgia has launched a new online course called “AI Literacy for All” to help faculty and staff build a foundational understanding of artificial intelligence. The training focuses on responsible use of generative AI in academic and professional settings.

The course is available now (as of June 3, 2026) for faculty and staff, with student access starting August 10, 2026.

Course details

Delivered through the Digital Education Council (DEC) platform, the course takes about 4 hours total and can be completed at your own pace.
