Requesting a New Course

Starting a new course is straightforward:

1. Submit a Ticket: Fill out the “Requesting a New Course” ticket. Provide essential details such as course name, program area/academic department, instructor(s) of record, and any other information.
2. Collaborate with Canvas Support: The Office of Information Technology will guide you through the process. They’ll help you set up your course shell, configure settings, and add content.

3. Support Services

The Office of Information Technology will provide basic support services, such as:

• Account Services: Manage user accounts, permissions, and roles within Canvas.
• Course Management: Create courses and organization
