Canva has recently released several new updates that change how you navigate certain aspects of their website. In this post we will cover some of the new changes regarding:
How to find Branded Templates
The biggest update is the creation of the new Brand Hub, previously called Brand. From this new hub we can find a list of all of our Brand Kits and Brand Templates.
To easily find just the branded templates, the recommendations are as follows:
- While on the Canva home page, click Brand Hub, found on the left-hand side bar
- Then click Brand Templates
- Then you can either scroll down the list of branded templates or utilize the drop-down menus to sort and organize your search
Where can I find the logos while editing a template?
- While editing a design, look to the left menu bar and click Brand Hub
- Then click the box that may say UGA Extension
Note
By default UGA Extension will be selected, however Canva will remember which brand kit you selected and will have that pre-selected upon opening the Brand Hub
- In the pop-up box, type your District name, or CAES if in an Academic Department, in to the text box
- Then click the box containing the logo you are looking for…in this example we are clicking on Northeast District: UGA Extension
- If you are unsure whether the template you are in uses an Extension + County logo or Extension + County & 4-H logo; please check out Choosing Your Canva Template: Think Logo First
- Scroll down the list of logos, paying attention to the file name directly below each logo, to find your County, District or Departmental logo
- Once you have found your logo, Click + Drag & Drop the logo onto the template’s existing logo
- It should automatically resize and fit into the logo box
